Welcome to my tech blog Take A Byte!
Prior to entering the tech world I worked as a pediatric nurse as well as doing some web development.
In fact web development is what caused me to dig deeper into other tech careers.
After doing various projects and getting my feet wet in languages like HTML, CSS, Java, and JavaScript – I decided to venture out and look into other areas of tech and lo and behold I found cybersecurity.
It has been love and frustration ever since. I love everything about it. From building port scanners to firewall configuration to hacking.
I currently work as a security analyst, tech career consultant, and per diem as pediatric nurse.
I’m currently studying for various cybersecurity certs as well as taking a penetration testing / ethical hacking course to sharpen my skill set even further.
I really hope this blog inspires you to start coding! Start learning and developing a skill. You will not regret it.
